Carpe Noctem One

Carpe noctem is a Latin phrase meaning “seize the night”.

This training program delves into the integration of night vision devices in a firearms environment, focusing on the development of techniques for manipulating both rifles and pistols, addressing malfunctions, executing reloads, and managing transitions.

The initial phase involves establishing a zero on the weapons and aligning the weapon-mounted aiming assistants. Once a solid zero is achieved, the training progresses into the nuances of shooting and manipulating weapon systems while wearing night vision. The class further advances into movement techniques and utilizing cover and concealment, all conducted under the cover of night. Participants will gain valuable skills in utilizing night vision technology in various aspects of firearms handling.
